FAQ

What Poolday is

What is Poolday, and what can it make?

Poolday is an AI agent that produces media for your team: video, images, audio and HTML. It edits your footage into finished cuts, creates videos from a prompt and adapts content into many versions.

How is Poolday different from AI video generators?

Generators give you clips that someone still has to edit and assemble. Poolday delivers finished videos built from your footage, assets and brand rules. The agent checks its own work before you see it.

Does it work with our real footage, or only AI generation?

It works with real footage: raw shoots, screen recordings, podcasts and event recordings. The agent finds the right moments and cuts them into finished videos. Generated elements are optional, and you decide when to use them.

How it works

How do I ask for a video?

Describe what you want in your own words, the way you would brief a colleague. The agent asks a few clarifying questions, then builds the video. The more specific your request, the better the result.

Does the agent learn our style over time?

Yes. It follows your brand setup and skills on every run, and it learns from each correction you make. The first few videos take the most back and forth, then requests get shorter.

How long does a video take?

A typical video comes back in an hour. You can run as many conversations as you want in parallel. One prompt can also produce 50 videos at once.

Can one prompt give me every size, language and variation?

Yes. One prompt can return every aspect ratio, cutdown, language and variation you need. The agent reframes each format around the action instead of cropping blindly, and localizes voice, captions and on-screen text.

Which AI models does it use, and can I choose?

Poolday connects to more than a thousand generative models for video, images, voice and music. The agent picks the right model for each task, and you can name a specific one in your prompt.

Brand and editing

How does the agent learn our brand?

You set up a brand kit with your guidelines, logos, fonts, colors and past videos. If your guidelines are loose, the agent can draft a kit from your website. Skills then teach it your own rules for how videos get made.

Can it use our Figma components, templates and existing projects?

Yes. Figma and Canva components, Lottie files and After Effects templates come in as they are, not as lookalikes. You can also import edit projects from Premiere, Final Cut Pro and DaVinci Resolve.

We manage several brands or clients. Can we keep them separate?

Yes. You can create a separate brand kit and skills for each brand, client or video series in one account. Agencies often write each client's style guide once as a skill.

Can I change one part without regenerating the whole video?

Yes. Every element sits on its own layer, so you point at what you want changed and change only that. You can prompt the edit or adjust it directly, and the rest of the video stays the same.

Integrations and workflow

Which tools does Poolday connect to?

Poolday connects natively to more than 500 tools, including Figma, Canva, GitHub, Google Drive and Slack. Once connected, the agent can read and act on your team's real work there. Any other tool can be added with a simple MCP connection.

Can it run on its own, on a schedule or a trigger?

Yes. You can schedule any prompt to run once or on a repeating interval. A connected tool can also start a run, such as a new file in Google Drive or a GitHub push.

Is there an API we can plug into our own tools?

Yes. The full agent is available through an API, so you can run it from your own product or pipeline. API access is part of the Enterprise plan.

Can our whole team use one account?

Yes. Every plan includes unlimited users, and we never charge per seat. One invite link brings in your whole team, and you can build custom interfaces around how it works.

Getting started

Is there a free trial?

No. Setting up the agent well takes hands-on work from our team. We sometimes run promotional offers on the first month, so ask us about them on a call.

What does onboarding look like?

It starts with a short kickoff call and a shared Slack channel with our team. We monitor and audit your first ten prompts, and draft a custom interface for you. Slack support continues on every plan.

Pricing and plans

How does Poolday pricing work?

You pay a monthly minimum in credits, and those credits pay for the work the agent does. One shared pool covers the agent and every AI model it calls. If credits run out, work pauses until you top up, so there is no surprise invoice.

How many videos will our plan cover?

It depends on the models used, the inputs you provide and whether you have templates. A typical video costs between $5 and $50 in credits. We size the plan to your volume on a call, then review real costs with you during your first month.

How can we keep the cost per video down?

Ask for several videos in one prompt, since batching brings the cost per video down. Templates and lighter production levels also use fewer credits. Longer commitments add bonus credits.

Do we have to sign a long contract?

No. Plans run month to month, and you can cancel on short notice. Longer terms add bonus credits and let unused credits roll over, but they are optional.

What is the difference between Business and Enterprise?

Both plans include unlimited users and a Slack support channel. Enterprise adds API access and options such as SSO, a DPA, an MSA, model controls and invoice terms. Book a call and we will help you choose.

Security and data

Do you train AI models on our data?

No. Poolday never trains on your footage, assets or prompts. We also sign an NDA as standard practice, at no cost. On Enterprise plans, it can be included in your MSA.

Can you meet our legal and compliance requirements?

Enterprise plans support a DPA, an MSA, security reviews and SSO. Model controls, also on Enterprise, let you restrict which AI models the agent can call. The agent can also replace sensitive data in screenshots and screen recordings with dummy data.
